What the app stores
The PartyPal app stores the parties you add on your phone only: child name, date, times, venue, notes, interests, budget, age, bought gifts, RSVP status, and any invitation photo you attach. We do not collect, store, or receive any of this information. Nothing leaves your device, and PartyPal stores no user data on our servers.
Parties stay on your phone
That information is saved on your device. We do not run a PartyPal cloud account. We do not sell your party list. PartyPal does not collect, store, or share your personal data on our own servers.
Backups
If you export a backup, the file is created on your device and only shared if you choose Share. We do not store your backup files.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your device. We do not read or track those notifications on a server.
Photos
Invitation photos stay on your device. Scanning an invite happens on the phone.
Location
If you allow it, coarse location is used only on the device to pick nearby gift shops for your country. You can set the country by hand in Settings instead. PartyPal does not send your location to our servers.
Ads
PartyPal contains ads. It shows ads from Google AdMob (a banner and an occasional open-screen ad). PartyPal does not collect advertising data itself. Google may collect a device advertising identifier to serve those ads. You can limit ad personalisation in your Android settings.
Updates
If you install from Google Play, the app can check Play for a newer version.
